[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought it was defective when we first got it. I didn't see the child lock that makes it appear as if it's not working. It cleans dishes well but it doesn't dry well. Overall I think it's a good washer. My last house I bought the step up from this model. It was better but not worth the price difference.

Hey Star817! I'm glad to hear that you were able to rectify your concern with the dishwasher. You may also find that using Rinse Aid will help with the drying performance with your dishwasher. Please feel free to contact us directly should you have any questions. Have a great day! Courtney

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No place for the longer silverware but it does a good job cleaning. Sometimes food particles are left on the bowls and plates.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first dishwasher had problems and they replaced it after trying different repairs. My new Frigidaire is working fine. It seems to take a long time to wash but the dishes come out clean. The lights are slow to come on when I open the door but they do come on. Not sure what this is but know they will come out and repair that is it is a problem.

Trouble from the start.

For buying a top of the line dishwasher it's been nothing but bad news. Randomly throws codes in the middle of a wash cycle. Occasionally makes a terrible screeching
noise. Dishes are never dry and to top it off now it's throwing a i20 code and not draining....I replaced a 20 year old working Frigidaire dishwasher with this one and deeply regret it. They don't make them like they use to!

Patch37, thank you for sharing your dishwasher experience with us. There are many conditions that can impact cleaning and drying, the most common being temperature. The “sweet” spot for water temperature is between 120-130 degrees for the best cleaning and drying potential. If you are uncertain if your water is the appropriate heat, check your water heater's temperature reading. To help get the hottest water to your dishwasher, let water run in your sink until it’s hot (like you do before getting in the shower). This "primes the pump", it gets hotter water to your dishwasher faster. Your dishwasher uses about 3-4 gallons per cycle, limiting the opportunity the water has to warm up if it doesn’t start off hot enough. Don’t forget to use rinse aid, it really makes a difference. Check to make sure the rinse aid dispenser is full. The dispenser window may show a dot to indicate its level, or it may function like a fuel gauge. Be sure to clean the filters regularly (page 16 in your Owner’s Manual). Selecting the heat dry option in combination with rinse aid will enhance drying performance. An i20 error code indicates clogged filters or a restricted drain line has been detected. Check and clean both filters and sump area, and check for a pinched or blocked drain hose. If the drain line is attached to a disposer, check that the knockout plug has been removed. The screeching sound you mentioned, is it happening when you open the door? If so, the pulley cables that operate the door may need to be rubbed with soap. If you have any questions, please reconnect with us directly for assistance. Your friendly Frigidaire lady, Ruth

Good, Not Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it a month ago. No real problems. Seven of the 14 screws holding the inner door panel on were loose so I tightened them; one is stripped out - should have been caught before leaving the factory but they passed it through. I use Finish Jet Dry as recommended, and run the water to hot beforehand (it's 130 degrees) as recommended, and use powder detergent recommended by the seller, and use the heated dry setting, but the dishes are still wet when the cycle is complete. I have to open the door overnight to vent the moisture out, and then they are mostly dry.
