Very nice

I had to replace our 13 year old Frigidaire dishwasher. We selected this model and we are very pleased. It does a great job on the dishes and is very very quiet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I loved my new Fridaire Gallery dishwasher for the first few washes. It has not worked for two months and I have had it serviced three times and it still does not work. The service company is so busy that it always takes a week or two until they can come to check it. The time keeps ticking and before I know it the warranty will be up. I purchased it in November 2014 but it was not installed in our new kitchen until May, 2015.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's been close to a year and while I love the design and space..... It always has a glitch every few days. I either need to slam it for the circuit board to register its closed so I can start it or the circuit board shorts and I need to flip breakers. It's already loose from the mount from the continuous slamming of the door. And the dishwasher tabs rarely ever fulling discharge from the compartment if it opens at all. Disappointed to say the least.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very disappointed with my purchase. I had my dishwasher installed in mid December and it appeared to work just fine for about three weeks. In early January when pressing the start button the dishwasher was totally dead. I called service and the repair man came out and said he would have to order a new board. Up to this point the service guy is still waiting for the replacement part and I have been washing dishes by hand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love our dishwasher! The plate holders fold down for bigger items. The top shelf is low enough my water bottles fit. The top shelf adjusts too, but I haven't even needed to adjust it further down because it has plenty of space.
I don't use Jet Dry or anything for water spots and have noticed my loads with this dishwasher have lots of spots, especially when I do the sanitize option on cycles. I looked it up online and read that the hotter the water being used, the more water spots will show up.
My only issue I'm not thrilled with is that it strips the cute designs off our plastic toddler bowls and cups, even though I wash them on the top shelf and don't run the high temp/ sanitize features when washing them. I'm not sure what causes this, but they're all looking worn out now. (We rented before buying our house and lived in 2 other places, both of them having a dishwasher replacements while we lived there.. so I've used 6 dishwashers on those bowls & cups now and none of the other dishwashers 5 took ANY of the designs off them. They weren't scratched and some of the bowls were even newer when we began using them in this machine.) I guess at least I know it's cleaning other stuff off?!
If I were to redesign anything, I'd probably change the bottom shelf's plate holder pieces that fold down. The entire row is one piece and folds down together, but if I have a big pot to put in, I'd rather only half the row fold down to fit it, then I could still use the rest for plates.

When we first bought this new dishwasher, after 17 years with our old one, we had trouble getting it to start!
After several phone calls to Customer Service and reviewing the user's manual, we called a very reliable repair service and replaced the power strip (the one with all the settings).
After installation by a very knowledgable service tech, it was determined that the reason it wouldn't always start was we'd been holding the C/L button too long. Now we barely tap it, and it starts right up, is barely audible and requires sunglasses to view the dishes, they are so bright.
We love new technology once we figure it out.
Great machine. Highly recommend it!
