We purchased this style Mr Coffee because it's the style that we like. There are several other 4 cup styles of pots, but this is our favorite style.

I bought this machine as a gift for my mother, who enjoys coffee daily, but not so much. Ease of use - done. Lid does stick - and may be bothersome for some who use it regularly.

Coffee will not drop into decanter

Received this 4 cup coffee maker for fathers day. During set up, all the water stayed in the brew basket as decanter does not reach up high enough to activate the pause and serve function. Appears to be a flaw in the design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
