It protects very well. The color is great. The wrist band is very functional. The issue is plugging it in to a speaker. I teach Zumba and Yoga so I use an I-Pod for my music. I have to take it completely out of the case to use the plug it at the gymns that I teach at.

We purchased the Defender for my 11 yr old daughter's new iPod Touch. Having paid for many replacement screens on iPads and Phones, I decided to search for a better alternative. She loves it, and enjoyed being able to choose the colours. Both my wife and I have a Defender for our Samsung phones and it is by far the best case available. I recently dropped my phone and it bounced hard on 3 corners on a bitumen surface. NO damage whatsoever, not even a scratch on the case. As far as service goes, I ordered my daughter's Defender on a Sunday and received it on Thursday i.e. 4 days and we live in regional Australia. Lucky to get something from Sydney in 4 days (only 80 miles away)!!!

Case seems very durable, nice fit, snaps together firmly and tightly. However, no amount of cleaning could keep the screen protector layer from "sticking" the the iPod screen. I went to great lengths to make sure the iPod screen was spotless, as well as the inside of the case screen, but with no success. Any ideas?

Used an Otter Box for my itouch 3 and was very satisfied with it. This version for my itouch 5th generation I like except for the fact that the screen protector doesn't sit flush with the screen making it difficult to swipe. Had to use sandpaper on the inside edges to get it to fit better. Didn't have that problem with my other one.
