Needed a good case for my new ipod, and after a lot of looking at different brands Otterbox came out on top. It is a solid three piece case that doesn’t attach pieces permanently to my ipod, nor does it add an excessive amount of bulk so I can still use the slim pockets on my older jackets and bags. It is getting hard to find cases for an ipod, so I truly appreciate Otterbox making a worth while one.

I love how protective this case is, but wish the lanyard locked in place. It doesn't make sense to secure something on my wrist then it slides right out of place.

The iPod touch Defender Series Case is an excellent product to help protect an iPod from damage. I, however, purchased it for my grandchild's iPod. He is an avid game player. He does not like the glass cover used to protect the screen. He says one needs to press a bit harder on the glass cover than you would on the bare iPod screen which causes unwarranted latency which hinders response times when playing games. It is also not as easy to charge the iPod with the case installed as it is to charge the iPod without the case.
Conclusion-The case provides excellent protection. Avid game players might have concerns.

I have always had Otter boxes on every device that I can get them by far the best protection ever the only thing I do not like is the new iPhone cases do not come with the plastic screen protector on it other than that by far better than anything
