This model is not compatible with the Apple Lightning to 30-pin Adapter. Otherwise, I am satisfied with this purchase. I think Otterbox should alert customers before they make an adapter purchase.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: not compatible with apple lightning to 30-pin

A very sturdy case, it was purchased for my 3 year old's i-touch. Four years ago I purchased a Defender case for my daughters i-touch and it is still going strong. This version has an improved protection near the charging port (very similar to the lifeproof case) as it clicks shut. The hard plastic exterior feels much more durable than the previous models. I am impressed with the home button rubber seal, great protection. It was easy to put onto the i-touch and the colour is great, very versatile. Would highly recommend the defender case as this is my 3rd purchase (all my children now have one & all their i-touches are in perfect condition).

I purchased this case for my new I-pod touch 5 recently. I've dropped it once already but it was fine because of the Otterbox case. The design is great because it fits in my pocket but I can still use it easily like plugging in headphone and charger. Since buying it, my school buddies have really checked the way it looks after my Ipod and want one one themselves. Its awesome value for students like us. Cheers, Nash. :)

I am a dork and a clutz. I punish my devices. I do any kind of abuse possible. That's why I bought another Otterbox. The first one was amazing. I've dropped it, sat on it. I've even dropped it in the sink while shaving. You're probably asking If it's so great why did he have to buy another one? Unfortunately, Otterbox is not protection against loss. Did I mention dork? Get Ottherbox, you won't be sorry,
