I have one situation with otter box . I had it facing down in my hand DVD than it dropped . The iPod did turn off once it hit the floor and it was not very high . I had to restart my iPod after. Do I am saying the otter box does not absorb all the shock from the floor drop.

I love the durability of these cases. I got my kids 7th gen iPods and needed something durable to survive tantrums and wildness of my crazy boys and the options are very limited. I appreciate the covers for the ports.
My only complaint is that the plastic part of the case covers half of the home button so it’s very difficult to press-they need help every time and it’s difficult for my husband and I too.

I had bought our first otterbox for my daughter when her sister dropped her iPod and the screen had a slight crack. The otter box was a wonderful fix. That iPod lasted another 2 years due to the durability of the otterbox. So this year when she got the iPod 5 it was essential that she have the otterbox before she opened the box. Thank you for making such a great product, keep up the great work! I wish they made otter boxes for boo boo kids!
