I have only great things to say about Otterbox. I have dropped my iPhone 5 several times in this case and it has survived. I even dropped the phone in a snowbank in a storm for 2 hours until it was finally located - initially cold, but still working. We couldn't find iPod Otterboxes locally and ordered 2 for our teenagers because this is the lowest profile (well made) case we could find. They would never use a case before this, but both used the cases immediately given the "cool" and low-profile (not bulky) styling. We are really impressed - totally worth the investment.

The otter box was a little difficult to put on until I figured out how to open it. It is made from good quality material. I feel a lot more secure having it on my new ipod. Only con is I wish it was water proof but I still love it and would highly recommend this product.

i got that for my grandaughter for Christmas for her ipod. i have a iphone 4 and have two otter boxes for it and i love them . i feel so safe with them on and would not do without them.

I researched many cases for an ipod touch 5g.
The other cases were ugly, bulky, had lint problems &/or did not offer much protection. Some do not have a screen protector either.

Otterbox cases cost more, but you get what you pay for.
I highly recommend this case. My teen loves it! The protection is great.
The covered areas for inputs are great for keeping out moisture & dust, but offer easy access when you need to use them.
The one thing I do not care for, is how hard it is to get the case off of the ipod, putting it back on is easy. Luckily she only needs to remove the case to charge her ipod.
