does not have scanner icon on desktop

The installation does not include an icon for the scanner. I have to use the product to select the scan option and it only scans and gives me no options on color, bw, etc.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Been using Epson printer for a couple of years now. Just got a new one and it was so easy to set up the Wi-Fi on it. I'm retired and don't know a lot about pc's and printers, so when I can print stuff off the pc and print pictures, that look like they were done at the store. That's what makes me HAPPY!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

XP-430 Small-in-One Printer

I like the smaller footprint as I don't have a lot of space. This is a nice quiet printer/scanner/copier that fits my budget and is easy to set up and use. My previous printer/scanner/copier was an Epson and I was quite happy with it up until it wore out and needed to be replaced. I stayed with Epson because I knew I would get a quality product at a reasonable price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice and compact, small price, perfect for me as a student. The set up was a bit complicated for me but I just called the tech support line and it was simple, 15 minutes later I was up and running!

Epson XP-430 Printer

Just set up my new Epson printer: Painless and very easy. I have not printed any documents yet or scanned anything but the set up was a dream come true. The printer also has a very compact footprint so I was able to fit it in a small space (on top of my file cabinet).
I would recommend this to a friend!
