easy setup

the setup process was easy and quick I like the fact that you could register your product online instead of mailing a paper to the manufacturer and having to use a postage stamp

I had a hard time getting this together. why do I need to use 50 charectors I had a hard time with this that's all there is to it

Easy set-up and firmware update. It was setup in about 30 minutes from box to computer. Have to download the software from Epson cd is a pain.

Replacement

My 420/XP stopped working after approx. 6 weeks. I called on 6/3/16 with an error code and was very well handled by your CS rep. A 430/XP replacement was received within 4 business days.
I had been happy with all aspects of my 420 until it stopped working.

I've been using epson printer since 2000 and for me epson printer are the only printers that I will buy, they last and hold up better than other printers.

Inaccessible Installation

Very nice printer/scanner. My problem is with the installation software. I am blind, and the installation procedure is almost totally inaccessible for screen reader software. Epson should follow universal accessibility standards; it is not burdensome to do so. I could not have installed the fine printer without sighted assistance. Sharp print, easy operation, quality scanner/copier.
