Great printer - customer service is amazing!

I had the XP-420 and absolutely loved it. I make handmade greeting cards and the quality of the prints is as good as printers I've paid hundreds for. But, last week as I was changing out a cartridge, a metal clip (really small) fell out. I'm not sure if it was my fault (maybe not seating it right). I took a chance and called customer service. In less than 10 minutes the kind lady had identified my problem and asked me if I would mind if she put me on hold while she "asked a technician". In less than 5 minutes, she came back and said "It could have been defective. We will send you another one, with cartridges." I was speechless! In two days, I had the new XP-430 on my front porch. It took me less than 30 minutes to unbox, hook it up to my Wi-Fi and start printing. I bought the first XP-420 because I needed a small all-in-one (Wi-Fi printing was a bonus). In the future, all my printers will be Epson. Thank you, kind lady, from a very grateful Tennessee customer!

Not the quality I have come to expect from Epson

This is my 3rd Epson printer. I have always had nice, sharp, crisp copies in the past with my previous printers. Not so with this one. Copies are blurry almost to the point of being unreadable, and ink is impossible to find except for online at the Epson store. This is a replacement sent free of charge by Epson for a printer than died in less than 6 months. Had the CX6000 for years loved it but sadly it seems the Epson quality is no longer there. I gave it 2 stars because of Epson's cutomer support.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy setup. Great bang for the buck. Only issue was during the last stage of setup for firmware - was prompted that the computer/printer weren't connected and firmware process couldn't complete. I just purchased the printer so it is possible that there just wasn't one available, but there was one listed so...... I just hit finish and moved on. Already printed from my phone and test page from computer so it looks like all is good.
I would recommend this to a friend!
