I replaced an XP 400 after many years of reliable service with an XP 430, awesome printer

Easy set-up

I purchased my Epson printer just before Christmas and so far I'm very pleased.
Setup was very easy just make sure if you want wireless to your printer or USB connection, I chose wireless but changed my mind when the Wi-Fi in my area was not very reliable so I changed back to wired using the USB but I had to go thought
to complete set-up again but once I get back home I will want to use my Wi-Fi so I will have to start over again, I hope there is an easier way.

Couldn't Stand It!

I bought this with great hopes but decided to put it in the garage and buy something else after one month. The print quality on the pages is awful and usually it is crooked despite all efforts to align. Do not recommend this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love Epson printers. Bought my first one many moons ago and it has since passed on . My second printer (xp 310) is still running perfectly at home, I bought this third one for my small office use. Set up was smooth and easy. Communicates seamlessly with my MacBook Air and iPhone. Produces quick, high quality paper prints. Can not beat the price or the quality. Top notch in my book.

My First Epson Printer

1. Need clearer instructions for initial set up, words as well as drawings.
2. Should come with a USB cable. Fortunately there was one connected to my old printer. It is a long drive to the store from here.
3. Why not have a "PRINT" icon on the panel instead of the confusing I in a diamond?
4. I like the small size. Most printers are too large to fit the space I have.
5. You should supply a detailed instruction book. I hate going to a website for information. For instance, I have no idea if I can print a photo on photo paper, or how.
6. When you first turn unit on, it should be ready to print, rather than having to click OK to choose "copy".
7. The box around the icon on the screen that will be chosen should stand out more. I completely missed it the first time I went through the screen options.
8. Had to figure out how to scroll this page up and down to double check my comments, it is not normal.
9. Oh, yeah. Printer works great, thank you.
