This printer was a replacement for a similar printer. So far we are pleased with its performance. I do miss the small adjustable screen my old printer had.
I would recommend this to a friend!

....I'm a professional photographer and I've tried every brand of printer under the sun.
Other, more expensive printers may have more bells and whistles, but when it comes to reliability....I keep coming back to Epson!
I have the r3000 for my professional printing and the xp-430 for paperwork.
The detail and color in my r3000 prints is unsurpassed and my xp-430 has not needed the annoying constant attention that I've had show printers in the past!

Fine printer but wireless performance is poor

I bought this printer a few months ago, and if I had written a review after 2 weeks it would have been outstanding. Since that time however, my iMac, iPhone, and iPad all have trouble finding the printer and using it through our wi-fi -- since that's the main reason we bought it, we have been very disappointed. If the printer was still returnable, we would have done so already. :(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only thing I don't like about this product is the owner's manual being online. This is a real inconvenience.
However, in my case the set up was very easy. I've only printed the test page, but the wireless connection was problem free, and the printer appears to be working perfectly. Thanks for a good product.
