Does everything advertised to do and I mean everything with great clarity and beautiful color where applied. The best thing is the compact size as I have limited office space and the inks are very reasonably priced. A very good buy for the money.

I don't know much about printers, but I know that the step by step process made it very easy to install. This printer is very user friendly and it was easy and relatively quick to set up (for a first timer, at that). My family has almost always used Epson products and have never had any major issues with them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Buy

This is a great machine for the money. The printer is used strictly on wifi, or having emails on Ipad delivered to it epson connect address even when we are not home. This is actually my second unit having bought one a year ago for another location.
It is also a great scanner/ copier, and copies photo with good resolution.
If space is a concern then its size is good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The only problem I had was entering in my WIFi password and once that tech issue was resolved the rest was simple to install

Easy set up

I was worried about setting up via wifi with all my devices. It was so easy and worked immediately after uploading drivers and even before with just setting the wifi for my wireless devices. I had an Epson printer previously that I liked, but this one is even better with better ink and wireless control.

A worthy successor to the Workforce printers

When I needed to upgrade from my years-old Workforce 30, I shopped around and settled on the XP 430, with scanner and copier rolled into the printer. I was leery about adding functions I didn't need (the scanner and copier), but the price was so attractive, I couldn't go too wrong.
The XP-430 is all I hoped with none of the shortcomings. Like its predecessor, it prints quickly, with sharp resolution, satisfactory color reproduction on cheap bond paper, and best of all, its WiFi connectivity means it is operated remotely and doesn't clog my workspace.
Set up was a little involved but mastered soon enough, and I was in business within 30 minutes of opening the box.
The photocopier function is handier than I expected. My Epson V550 photo scanner is still working flawlessly, so I haven't yet used the XP-430 photo scanner.
I would recommend this to a friend!
