Easy to use

I bought this a little over a month ago and it is fairly easy to use. I am not very good with printers and computers so it is a good printer to use. I haven't even needed to fill the ink yet. Great purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Something simple

I was looking for a printer that had copy, fax, scan and that was easy to use. I did NOT get one with a fax option due to the price difference; however, I am completely satisfied with the option I bought.

Very easy installation

The installation process took me less than 30 minutes and it works! It's simple to use. We'll see how long the device lasts now without major problems. :)

I needed a printer ASAP my old one died. Checked on line different one's found this filled my needs and more with wireless, and easy install. Price was GREAT too

Poor photo printing quality

As a longtime (15 years plus) user of Epson printers, I have tried Epson XP-430 and XP-640 recently and was unpleasantly surprised to observe a visible deterioration of their printing quality (especially the quality of photo printing). The colors of printed photos do not faithfully reflect the colors of the original digital files, and there is always a pervasive dullness (or, lacklusterness, so to speak) over the printed images. Something seems to have happened to either the printer design, manufacturing, or ink cartridges, which has severely affected the quality of printing (esp. photo printing). I hope Epson has not tried to cut production costs at the cost of printer quality, which would cause its printers to lose their competitive edge in the current market.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Annoying Feature!

I bought this printer almost a year ago and originally didn't have any complaints. I recently moved and now that I've had to reconnect it to my new WiFi, I have problems with it every single time I try to use it. It always tells me I have a communication error which leads to me to re-download the epson driver. It's so annoying!! I've looked online and it seems to be a common issue. Someone said they only way they can fix it is by using a USB cord, which defeats the purpose of it being a wireless printer... I'll probably end up just buying another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
