The refrigerator is not longer usable because of odor. LG should've warned of this defect so we could've been aware & had someone check the refrigerator, thus possibly saving food & not having odor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had great luck with this refrigerator for 9 years. Plenty of room for food and storage for 2 people. I would buy a larger model for families. The ice and water dispenser worked very well and easy to change the filter. Overall I would recommend this refrigerator for functionality and style. LG was very responsive when I spoke to them about repairs needed. They were willing to warranty the parts which was very helpfull.
I bought this fridge 4 years ago and started having issues w/the temperature. A service company had to replace the compressor, the evaporator coill, and service board. Took a whole month and hopefully is good now. Any appliance should not start having issues after 4 years!

Bought a house that included this model, so it is the prior owner’s choice. It takes a lot of floor space for the tiny bit of storage inside. The warning beeps are ear piercingly shrill. Nothing bigger than soda cans will fit in the left door. It is so small that both doors must be opened to reach any contents except what is in the door. Would function much better with 1 full door instead of 2. I ignore the front panel - see nothing useful offered by it. TBH it cools and freezes well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have LG kitchen, laundry and 3 TV's. Our frig. and range went out twice in the last 3 months and we will never buy another LG appliance and will convince others not to buy LG either.

Purchased 5-6 years ago. Compressor died last month 3/2023. Expensive repair. It’s a shame because we generally like this frig. Other than that. Also, there was no error code displayed and the remote diagnostic system is unusable. No longer the good value that I thought it was.
