Thank goodness LG has spectacular customer service, or else I'd never buy another LG product again. This fridge has broken down multiple times since purchased, whenever it was out of warranty LG still stood beside me and helped after seeing how many repairs were done prior to warranty expiration.

Really liked the unit but one day water was leaking on the floor and found out the compressor is probably bad. Talked to support and was told I would be contacted in 24-48 hours to get a repair tech out. That didn't happen and been without this fridge for 2 weeks. Would recommend this product but not if these failures are common.

Have had this for 4 years now and am very pleased with how well it does the refrigerator and freezer functions. Maintains the temps, quiet operation, flexible shelving and the best ice makers/dispenser I've ever owned. Only complaint is the the black stainless finish peeled after about 4 years (happened to matching microwave and stove too). LG did step up and installed two new doors at no cost and outside the warranty -- here's hoping the finish on these last longer.

Terrible refrigerator!! The compressor unit has left a lot of dedicated customers down! So sad just over 6 years old! Was told the compressor overheated and melted all the coating off. Wow! What kind of chemicals did I breath there. Given the choice of replacing 4 different parts plus I have to pay labor. No thanks! Sitting in my kitchen as I decide what to do. Two doors needed replaced due to finish problems. Would have give a zero on this but wasn’t possible! Very disappointed!! Do not buy this frig: Compressor issues!!
