LOved it but didn't last long.

Out of warrenty 5 months it was iced in the back between the refrig and freezer LG told the repair man to unplug for 4 days!!! Was dissapointed hope they will replace it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only had this refrigerator for 3.5 years and the compressor gave out. Luckily I bought the warranty and the store gave me back a warranty gift card for the full amount I bought it for.

The worst appliances i regret buying this brand

I bought a fridge like a year and a few months this is a stainless steel I thought it was going to last a few years looking good because they’re ain’t cheap but I was surprised the it didn’t last the long as I thought the clear coat start peeling off I call customer service because it have a sticker on front of it the said 10 years warranty but the don’t cover for the quality of the finishing they used I never going to buy nothing from this brand again or recommend any one to buy from them the worst ever

Problems galore

This is my third year of owning an LG French door refrigerator. I love the look but it comes with a number of problems! My first year both icemakers went out so it was under warranty and they replaced them...then within six months they both went out again! it’s been freezing items on the shelves and in the Vegetable bins. I had the refrigerator set on 37 degrees which is recommended and I’ve turned it up to 39 and it’s still freezing my food! I’ve been dealing with this problem for the last nine months so I guess every two years or less you need to buy a new refrigerator if you buy an LG!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the unit 3 years ago and the compressor failed. Had the unit repaired and it lasted 3 months. Had the unit repaired again and it lasted one day. LG needs to replace my entire refrigerator with bottom freezer.

Do not buy! Poorly made. Our refrigerator died after only 5 years of owning it. Compressor died!!!

I have had my refrigerator for 7 years and it ran perfect and I really liked the design of the ice/water system. That all end a few weeks ago right before Thanksgiving and a house full of people. Both ice makers quit making ice at about the the same time, and during troubleshooting I discovered that the freezer was not keeping things frozen. I did all the steps to get everything running to no avail and ended up buying a new refrigerator, which was not on my forecast to spend all that money. In the end I went with another brand and did not even look at LG. I also had to throw half the stuff in the freezer away.

My First Major Appliance

I bought this French Door refrigerator a couple of years ago when I moved into my first home. I immediately fell in love with the features: stainless steel, french doors, bottom freezer, moveable shelves, Ice Maker, Water Filreation, et. I also enjoyed that it was Energy Efficient, probably the best feature overall... anything that will save me money! Thank you LG!
