[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we bought this frig over a month ago and we replaced it with a side by side which was the worst frig i ever ever owned. no space in either side and we bought this french door frig and just love it. lots of room in top and bottom for freezer. the 1 and only thing i found that was complaint ice cubes are very small but then with maker in the door guess you cant expect much for the space. otherwise GREAT frig.

However, this fridge fits the space perfectly and fits tons of food, drinks and frozen items for our family of 4. We went with the double ice maker which is great. Again it’s only been 1 month but so far love it!

More storage than a 26 side by side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had it for about 2 months now. All food was taken out of our old jam packed 26.5 cu ft side by side. After we transferred all the items, we were amazed at all the storage we had left over! Since my wife bakes alot, this unit cant be beat for storing large baked items. The double doors are so convenient. The freezer takes some getting used to, but once you organize it and stick to a loading plan, its fine. The second ice maker is great for party purposes. Great contemporary design !!

still have last unit as second fridge.
this LG has one less veg / fruit bin. the long lower draw bin significantly smaller
the ice maker in door really messes up small item door storage, also makes that door real heavy so it slams shut unless your are careful when closing glad I don't have children!!! Second ice maker in freezer pretty much useless. want ice or frozen food? have to make that choice. lastly the water filter size, shape, and location is horrible another waste of space designed into this unit. in general really poor attention to detail in this design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful refrigerator! It is very spacious. However, the water filter takes up alot of space in my opinion; space that would be otherwise gained by having the slim space plus ice maker. The black stainless steel is very nice and does not seem to show fingerprints, but be careful not to scratch it! We tested the temperature in different places throughout the fridge, including the lower freezer, and it seems to stay in the range we set. The ice makers work great, and you do have the option to change from cubes to crushed ice, but the ice cubes do come out a little small for my taste. The led light is plenty bright to light up the entire fridge with no dark areas. There's also a light in the bottom freezer that is adequate. We like the fact that there's a 10 year warranty on the compressor, and upon doing our due diligence and reveiwing many different brands, LG seems to back up the quality of their appliances. All things considered, we are extremely pleased with the appearance, quality, and efficientcy of this beautiful refrigerator, and expect it will be the centerpiece of our kitchen for years to come!
