HASN'T WORKED FOR A STRAIGHT MONTH ENTIRE TIME I'VE HAD IT. NOW THE DRAWER IN THE BOTTOM PART OF FREEZER IS OUT OF ALIGNMENT TOO!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model was purchased almost 3 years previously for the use of 3 adults. The capacity is more than enough for more people but since there is less “open/close” run time, it has been equated with less energy consumption. The SS exterior minimize hand prints and easy to clean.
So my family has had this fridge for about a year or so. It’s been treating us well until we saw it wasn’t making ice anymore. So we had to keep calling service tech every other week or so for them to fix it. It’s a real pain for a good fridge.
Thank God I purchased the extended warranty on this refrigerator. After 3 years, the compressor failed. Although I have been pleased with the overall quality and performance, I was told by the repair company that this particular model has had issues with bad compressors. You would think because of this, LG would have done a recall to fix the problem.
