The repairman came out and said it was probably the condenser and the compressor. Was afraid we were going to have a large bill! But we only have to pay for the labor - not parts! Very happy we bought an LG!

We bought LG refrigerator only because our home refrigerator had to be taken to trash . The store did not have very many to pick from. I had heard the LG are very reliable and would be a good refrigerator.
Mistake.... First was told the finish was finger print resistant, but the worse is that the ice make on the top part was leaking , water, there is a odor from ,we guess, foods in freezer. We could never find a source . The odor would get in to the ice cubes despite the filter and baking soda I had in refrigerator and freezer. The inside looks roomy but it isn't and you are unable to use the space in a convenient way. If I could I would set it out on curbside for the trash. . I feel having this refrigerator is a nightmare!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used a bunch of LG products when we built our house. The television lasted 1.5 years. Our microwave lasted 1.5 years. Our washer lasted 4.5 years. Our fridge was repaired 5-6 times, and we replaced it after 4.5 years. I definitely would not recommend LG products.

Unfortunately approximately 4 weeks ago, the compressor went out and we had a VERY difficult time getting it replaced! It was not a supply issue, but rather a vendor issue which made it even more frustrating.
