We purchased this refrigerator as it was one of only a few that fit into the space in our kitchen. It is similar in deign and size to our previous LG that had a failed compressor after nine years. The only major complaint is that the right hand door (one without icemaker and one with view glass) does not open as much as left door. It barely gets past ninety degrees making it hard to get some things into that side of refrigerator if other door is closed.

Had your 4 years and the ice maker in the door always binds up with a solid piece of ice and won’t dispense properly. Difficult to remove the ice holder once this occurs.

We have had our LG fridge for a while now. Overall it has been great, but we have had some ice maker issues. The top icemaker sometime freezes with the tray upside down and doesn't make ice. And we just had the bottom icemaker repaired. There is a water tube that needs insulation, and it wasn't included as part of the design. Still pretty happy with it.

Our fridge had an issue about 8 months after purchasing it. LG was fast and responsive to fix it and cover the costs given it was under warranty. The even called 2 days later to check to make sure it was still working well.

Great refrigerator for the money and best warranty I could find. The only things I would change is the single water/ice device which means you must select each time vs a separate water and ice device on my older Lg. Also wish there was a second ice machine in the drawer.
