Had a GE previous lasted 17 years bought this a replacement. Good features good price. Don't need those high end high cost front loaders

This is an amazing dryer. My previous 2 dryers all had issues with their sensors not working properly. This machine dries in the perfect amount of time, faster than any dryer I have had in the past. It is very quiet and the features are plenty for what a dryer needs. I am very pleased that it dries so quickly and your clothing doesn't have that "almost" burnt smell and feel to them.

My 9 year old gas dryer broke recently so I bought this GE gas dryer model and it is quieter than the previous one. So far it dries my clothes very well and I have no complaints about it.

Very Good Dryer for Individual

This dryer is a good dryer for one person without having to dry clothing for a family. I'm happy with it because I don't have alot of laundry, and the longer time needed to dry clothing compared to a top of the line dryer isn't a problem.

Great dryer. Heating temps a little low

On the highest setting, my clothes still take 50min to dry an average load. My old dryer only took 40 minutes. A little disappointing, but everything else about this dryer is great

Very poor lint management

We have owned GE Gas Dryer Model GTDP490GD0WS for about nine months. While the matching washer is excellent, the dryer leaves lint, not only all over the door, but on the clothes, as well. After drying, we have to shake the clothes vigorously to remove the lint, then vacuum the floor when we are finished. Note to GE Engineering; you need an EC for this problem immediately!
