Beautiful but LOUD!

I bought this fridge a few months back. It's really nice looking. There is ample space on the inside. It looks really nice in the kitchen. That said, I can't believe how loud it is! I replaced this with my 18 year old Frigidaire Gallery and this is SO much louder. It even comes with a sheet that addresses the noise.
In all, I like the fridge but would think twice about purchasing my next from Samsung.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy this refrigerator

I moved into a 1-1/2 year old house that had this Samsung refrigerator. It is a nightmare to clean. Every single part of it is difficult to clean. If food or liquid gets under the clear plastic there is no way that, by yourself, you get can underneath the clear plastic (look at the drawers and you’ll see the clear plastic surrounding the handle). The glass top that sits on the double drawer...impossible to get out. And you need to in order to clean properly. I don’t mean there are not clips to release to get things apart, I mean it is impossible to actually move these clips. I tried for 2 hours, watched videos, used a screw driver, gently, which broke off a piece of the clear plastic. You will regret buying this refrigerator. It works okay, but it’s nothing special and the degree of difficulty in cleaning up after an inevitable spill makes this product a total mistake in product design. I believe you’ll regret it if you purchase it.

nov 2018 i bought 4 samsung pieces for my new kitchen range, micro, dishwasher and fridge.. could not be happier. old ge refrig always made a hum when cooling. this samsung you cannot hear at all...ever.. dishwasher same super quiet.. convection oven cooks like i never new an oven could.. just bought 3 refrigerators and 3 ranges for my small 3 family property.. very satisfied customer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the black stainless ‘coating’ is peeling off. i called service and they said there is no warranty for ‘cosmetic ‘ feature. i wonder how much more will peel off. very disappointed.

Would not buy another

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] after only 2 months it completely died along with all the food i had in it. still waiting for it to be fixed. a brand new refrigerator should never stop working after only 2 months. .

Questionable longevity

i bought this fridge just shy of 2 years ago and it looked great in my kitchen. fast forward to today and now i start to have the dreaded mechanical issues you see about on the internet. buyer beware

the ice maker broke within first year, have had it repaired 3 times. now the motor is freezing from ice build up and it needs to be repaired again. i think i've now bought this fridge twice.
