Ice maker is junk

I bought this b/c I had a good experience with Samsung tv's. I also have a Samsung washer and was planning on replacing the other appliances as they stopped working with more Samsung products. However, I purchased this machine and have had non-stop issues with the ice maker. Purchased in 2013 and I'm on my second ice maker and I'm still having issues with it. I've also had an issue with the Twin Cooling feature which had ice buildup behind that. I would HIGHLY recommend looking at a different brand. I've looked it up online and there are MANY customers with the same issue and Samsung still has not offered a recall on it. Looks like I'll be going somewhere else for my stove and microwave when I replace those.

Horrible Finish

The refrigerator works fine and everything but the finish is so horrible my husband wants to get rid of it. We have no children, no pets, and yet it looks like it has been through a war. scratches and dents appear. Never have we had an appliance with such a horrible finish.

Ice Maker issues

We were super happy when we first got this. There is so much room and the french doors are so great for space. Right after the warranty expired the ice maker stopped working. There is no auto stop for the ice to stop when it is full so it just keeps making ice and eventually freezes the whole mechanism and clogs the ice maker. Then you have to defrost it or scrape ice off for it to start making ice again. We are very disappointed that a name like Samsung would have this issue. We have Samsung phones and love them...guess they are not the best with appliances. Wondering what to do to make it right.

We brought ours 4 years ago two issues makes noise and adjustable shelves cracks we are replacing our third shelve. Great product.

Like the fridge, for the most part. Ice maker has to be defrosted at least every month. Door shelves break with the weight of a feather

So disappointed !

I bought this at the end of March this year so I have used it for one and half month. I have condensation on the surface of the door(outside). I called the customer center and the agent said I need to turn off the ENERGY SAVER option. There is a heater in front of the door and the heater makes condensation according to the agent. Also, she said they are planning to change the option's name because it doesn't seem to work well. I didn't understand. Then, why Samsung makes this option. If there is no energy saver option, I would have thought about another model. This is soooo disappointing.
