Not worth the money

I bought this refrigerator 4 years ago. The ice maker stated acting up one month after the warranty ran out. It's given me nothing but trouble since. Now the bucket won't come out, so I have no ice at all. I will never buy another Samsung product.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Limiting fridge space

I love the freezer design, but not the fridge. I usually love to have tall items in like milk and juice cartons in standing position. This design has limited space and does not allow that as the topmost rack can not be moved. Switching the second or third rack to allow for enough space for standing juice or milk cartons would reduce one of the racks to too small a space to allow any food containers. So while the interior looks great because of wonderful lighting, the space has been a disappointment. Future designs should allow for that as I dont like storing my juice or milk horizontally. The design of the doors does not allow much storage space on the door racks either.
Pros: Bright display, spacious freezer
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Ice buildup will ruin your food

Do not buy this fridge.
This fridge has a design flaw where an ice build up will cause the fans to seize up and no cool air will blow into the fridge area. We have had to unplug our fridge 2 times in the last 2 months to clear the ice. At first it will start with a loud clicking noise and then it will go silent, that means the fan has stopped so no cool air is blowing. Thankfully we have a 2nd fridge to transfer our food to while we defrost this one. I HATE THIS FRIDGE.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just got it deliverd and it looks amazing! Lets hope it performs as well as it looks. Will follow-up when we get some hours on it. With a family of six, we will test the heck out of it!

Super-efficient Energy Star certified refrigerator

Loving our new refrigerator!

We just installed our new refrigerator last Friday (4 days ago) -- we are loving it so far and have not had any issues. Seems like a great refrigerator -- still getting used to the shelving set up inside, though.

I love the looks of it in the black stainless steel. The freezer is very large and has lots of room. The fridge design is somewhat small due to the placement of the ice maker, but its workable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Trouble from Day One!

First, I have to say that I love the layout of the refrigerator. Big freezer on the bottom, plenty of drawer and shelf space. But the ice-maker has been a problem since day one! The cubes come out as small chunks all frosted over. I've had the repair guy here twice in the first year, and he did not fix the problem. Now water is leaking into the refrigerator and flooding the refrigerator floor and the crisper drawers. I have had to turn the water off completely, so no water and no ice. It is still leaking . . . Personally, I will not buy Samsung appliances again. Very disappointed!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
