Love the Water and Ice thru the Door!

Works well. Appears to be put together well.
The design of the ice maker within the refrigerator compartment is curious.
Lots of cracking and popping as it expands and contracts. The release of the ice drawer requires lots of mussel. Not sure if it is freezing around seal or what??

I purchased this product over 2 months ago and the features are excellent...
I am very happy with the small tray to that keeps deli meats fresh... My wife uses it to defrost meats and poultry without having to use the microwave or leaving it outside all day to defrost.
Also I like the child safe features on the ice maker/water dispenser. The water that comes out from it is very clean and refreshing..

Excellent product except for the gunshots

I love every aspect of this refrigerator except for the gunshot noises it makes during the night. I read the reviews beforehand and they were all positive but then I researched the noises and most people suffer from the loud bangs it mysteriously makes during the night. I wish they would fix this.
Pros: Inexpensive, beautiful and functional
Cons: noises
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This refrigerator holds a lot of groceries, and has a few shelves that collapse or fold up to accommodate for larger items. We love the design!

Very poor icemaker, plastic drawers are flimsy

Even when the ice maker is working it only holds enough ice for 3 drinks. Unfortunately, it usually doesn't work. At just over a year the ice maker began to frost up and then instead of falling into the bin, ice would stick to the side of the ice maker. Now I need to chisel ice cubes off the side of the ice maker about once a week. It's difficult to get done and takes about 10 minutes. After I'm done I do my best to clean up all of the tiny pieces of ice but they always end up dripping down the inside of the door. About a quarter cup of water all over every product I keep in the door makes my fancy looking 2 year old fridge feel like junk. I've read the ice maker in this refrigerator has lots of problems and replacing it won't fix anything.
The drawers have already developed spiderweb cracks across them and from what I'm reading, they will soon fail and need to be replaced with new drawers that will also last just over a year.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor quality, tiny ice maker, ice maker needs to be defrosted weekly
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with your Refrigerator, SteveOrlando. It's possible that the frost in the bin, as well as the issue with ice and water dripping down the door is a result of it not sealing properly. Please check the leveling of the refrigerator to ensure the seal between the ice chute in the door and the opening to the ice maker is secure and that the flap at the entrance to the ice maker can close completely so warm air can't get in.

I have wanted a French door fridge for years and so far I love it. It's big and makes great use of space. For the most part the design and function is very good. I do have a few minor critiques, but that's usually the case with anything I buy as I am pretty picky. The ice machine is a little slow to dispense and often mixes in crushed ice even on the cube setting. I wish the full drawer for deli stuff pulled out a little further. Also wish there was a small tray under the water/ice dispenser to catch any drips/melt.
Again, though, overall I really like the look and function of this product and look forward to years of happiness using it!
