Superior Design Compared to other refrigerators

We received the new refrigerator today and love it. We looked at several other stainless steel refrigerator models and chose Samsung for it's superior design, LED lighting, interior layout and beautiful exterior. The price was within our budget compared to other manufacturers comparable models which were more expensive with less features. Samsung really surprised us, topping our choice of refrigerator models within our price range. The feature that sold us was the water filter location inside the model in addition to the "clam shell" deli drawer. This is our first Samsung product purchase and we hope it performs and lasts as good as it looks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I would not recommend this product because of the poor quality. the ice maker has been replaced 3 times because of freezing up, small and broke cubes. It still freezes up at times and I have to remove the tray and remove jammed cubes. this is the second machine because the first one was replaced because the cabinet was leaking and no repair parts were available. The machine is noisy and at times sounds as if the compressor is going bad or as if the fan blade is hitting something . The noise is loud and can be heard through out the house.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice French Door Refrigerator

Love the freezer at the bottom & the french door design makes you feel like you have twice the space. Fantastic cheese & meat drawer keeps everything fresh much longer. Love the ice & cold water accessibility in the door.
Pros: Realistic color, Durable, french doors & bottom freezer

Faulty materials

First of all we owened a lot of Samsung products over the years and were always highly satisfied by the quality. Few years back upgraded our TV by purchasing LED from Samsung. To say that we were not happy with the purchase is to not say anything. As soon as the warranty ran out things started to fail. Repair will cost more than buying a new TV.... Nevertheless, stayed loyal with a brand and Purchased this refrigerator less than 2 years. We were sold by the beautiful design and all the features that this refrigerator has to offer. Now we already replaced multiple bins and rails inside the fridge as plastic material that is used doesn't withhold daily wear. Luckily we can still get replacement parts online but it adds to the cost and frustration. I think this is our last Samsung purchase.....

Great fridge- horrible ice maker

Have had the ice maker repaired 3 times and it's still freezing up at least once a week, making slush most of the time and constantly drips water from the dispenser on the front of door. (Dripping all over our laminate flooring) leaves the front looking like someone puked all over it if you don't clean it everyday. If you buy this you better make sure you get an extended warranty it you will be paying big time for constant service calls over the ice maker.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations

This refrigerator is terrible. It was one of the few available that fit my space, but it has been awful. It is literally falling apart. I have replaced the plastic cover to the shelf already, and now it is broken again, as is the shelf itself, so I will have to purchase a new shelf and cover. The handle to the freezer broke off, so I had to replace that as well. For the price, it really should hold up better. Very disappointed and will never buy samsung appliances again. Stick to TV’s when purchasing samsung products.

the ice maker freezes, and it must be thawed with a hair dryer frequently. now the fan is making a horrible noise. this has been ongoing for 2 years!
