Ice maker freezes up continually

I really like the storage capacity for this fridge. Very nice looking. The cost is comparable to similar units. The reason I purchased this unit was for the Samsung Name. I have a kitchen full of Samsung appliances ..
I am very disappointed with the Ice dispenser. It continually freezes up, I have to put cups of warm water in the ice storage compartment in the refrigerator to thaw out the ice build up on the ice maker.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Poor quality, bad ice maker design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just had the refrigerator delivered yesterday so difficult to accurately rate the product but so far am happy with what I see! Do want to say that the only thing I have found disappointing is that there is no kick panel (or whatever it is called!) we did not notice that in the store and it is not noticeable unless you are sitting across the room and look at the refrigerator straight on!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Fridge and Features for the Price

I have only owned my refrigerator for a few days, but I love it so far. The negatives are that the ice maker is slow to make ice compared to my last refrigerator and the shiny finish is easily messed with fingerprints and is difficult to clean without streaking. However, the shiny finish does look nice. The water from the filter is chilled and tastes better than it did from my old Brita filter. The refrigerator is very spacious and we love all the features and functionality.
Pros: Bright display, great value, spacious

This product is great, however ice maker is not very good.

Company needs to work on Ice Maker. Crushed ice comes out with cubes. Cubes are small.

Lost some space but worth the beauty

We purchased this to replace our "old fashioned" French door fridge....was slightly disappointed in the use of space...the excessive shelving results in a loss of space, even though this fridge boasts more square footage. Lots of little nooks in the doors that are "useless" - I don't have many items that are less than 1' in diameter in order to fit. The slide shelf is a life-saver....would like to see a better design on the shelving placement. The cooling drawer is AWESOME and very useful. Seem to be having a few issues with the water/ice option switching in the door and sometimes it doesn't come on at all and we have to remove the glass completely, give it a second, and try again. The finish is BEAUTIFUL and looks great! We were also disappointed there's not a "cover" along the bottom to hide the wheels of the fridge.

A Good Refrigerator

This is a great refrigerator so far easy to disassemble if need be and vice versa. The design of the refrigerator allows for easy and neat storage.

Ice Maker Terrible

Ice maker has been serviced 2 times under warranty. Now out of warranty, I still have a solid frozen ice machine producing no ice.
When it did produce ice, there was hardly any difference between crushed and cubed.
Terrible design / function.
