I love my fridge so much that were planing on replacing all of our appliances, I want all of them to be Samsung! We just own the refrigerator but I also want the over the range microwave, the electric range and the dishwasher... and of course the washer and dryer. I love how big this fridge is and how bright the inside light is, all of my produce fits without problem, and as a plus it looks GREAT in my kitchen! im happy with the purchase! Thanks Samsung for making our lives easier.

Sleek style and innovation

This product looks awesome and runs even better. I bought it over a year ago and have had no problems. I received alot of compliments on its style. The french door feature is so much nicer than the side by side doors.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color

Looks good and has a lot of nice features, BUT this product is the noisiest refer we have ever owned. And it's not just the ice maker doing its thing, although that may be the crux of our problems, but I think a fundamental flaw in design. Throughout the day--but especially noticeable at night--this refer cracks and bangs loudly during operation. And when I say bang I mean loud enough to wake us up in the middle of the night.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wish I had got one sooner

I needed to replace my old medium sized standard refrigerator and my daughter recommended that I look at a French door model. So I spent weeks reading reviews and product information until I narrowed it down to 3 or 4 units. I then took several field trips see them at the retail stores. After looking at them my decision was a Samsung French door. I chose the one that does not have the water and ice through the door because I needed the interior as large as possible. I am very impressed with the unit. I have only had it for 2 weeks but I really like the size and features. I especially like the design of the bottom freezer compartment. The drawer slides out extremely easy versus some of the other brands I looked at. The light levels in the unit are very bright which are welcome for these aging eyes. The unit is very quiet and does a good job a maintaining the set temperature. I also like the door alarm as I have two grandchildren living with me at present and they sometimes forget to shut the door all the way. So far I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this refrigerator to anyone.
Pros: size, door alarm, quiet, well lighted

Interior room during the Holidays

Love the size and storage room. During the holidays when preparing for large dinners, it is very nice to be able to prepare items ahead of time an have the room to store them before cooking. Really cuts down on the hustle and rush trying to prepare all at once to cook. Also has plenty of room for item that need to stay cool. My wife loves the room for storage and also the bottom freezer for the ice maker and also the room to store frozen items.

There is a lot of popping noises. Once an hour it is extremely loud, has waken us at night . They explained it is the plastic water tube expanding and contracting. They have ordered us some kind of insulation to put around the tube to try to quiet the noise. But back ordered due to high demand.
Also the ice maker does not produce enough. It only has 8 cubes per tray and it only dumps every one to three hours. It takes 3 days to fill the ice bin.
The only pro is the duel cooling system. It keeps great produce. Lettuce lasts 2 weeks in mine.
