No suprise, major ice maker issues

like many others i too have had a terrible experience with the ice maker. weve had the fridge for just about 5 years now but havent had functioning ice for more 3 years. it freezes to a solid cube of ice and becomes useless. the entire top drawer of freezer is now deficated to ice trays as weve given up on the fridge at this point.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

ice maker is just wrong. this is a 5 year old fridge. ice maker has caused rust via condensation in the back panel of the unit and of course is unusable..pretty hard to swallow after less than 5 years

The french door convenience

one year and five months after warranty expired the ice maker froze, no ice only gurgling sounds. also everything in fruit, vegetable section spoiled grew mold overnight and all the ice creams and popicles turn to water. i’m a widow with no man power in the house. got someone to clear the freezer line had to chip ice buildup and use blow dryer to thaw the inside parts. had to put fridge section on chill to keep the stuff cool and freezer only cools the meats

the fridge is a good size but the ice maker freezes up we have to clean buildup once a month and the drain does not work properly pulled huge sheet of ice off bottom of crisper makes the draw hard to open

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 2nd purchase of this refrigerator and we LOVE it. There is so much room and you would not believe how much room in the bottom freezer. We deliberately kept our old fridge and put it in the garage thinking we would need more fridge space and we hardly used it at all. The ice and water dispenser is great and with the filter, we always have fresh water and ice. We also talked the person who purchased our home into buying one. She knew we were taking ours and loved it and asked how we liked it and sure enough, she bought one too.

Great Fridge, Could Use One Adjustment

In that time, my only minor gripe is that the large drawer at the bottom has to have both doors open. I understand the reason, and understand that for many it's not a big deal (hence keeping the five stars), but I do wish there would be a way to open only part of it, or allow the user to customize it (lock two sliding drawers together or something). There is plenty of space. The shelves are customizable enough to make most items work. My short wife does not like the normal location we keep the butter (top of the door) being a bin, versus the flip-top lid that our previous fridge was. The freezer is spacious and has a tight seal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It works - not sure about support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a floor model and it turns out it was made in 2012! The screen is faded and there is no fitting on the end of the water connector. Had a tech out to take a look and he said that this is how it comes...just a tube. After checking the manual, it shows the fitting and it is labeled as “supplied”. Trying to have them come out again to address this as we cannot use the water or ice function.
