Great Buy

We are so pleased with our new refrigerator! Honestly what attracted us to it to begin with was the pretty black stainless steel! It's so classy looking! We have received so many compliments on it. Some other favorite features are the bright lights inside and the roomy freezer. The drawers inside the refrigerator are the perfect size for a weekly shopping trip and the size of the ice cubes are ideal. Unfortunately we have found a few things we wish were different. There is limited space for large items such as a family size pitcher and a gallon of milk or juice. Sliding one shelf in creates room for these but obviously eliminates space for something else. The door will also hold the gallon jugs but there's only space for two at a time. The other feature we miss is having a compartment for a butter tray. We designated a space in the door which is fine but we would like an enclosed area for it. Overall we love our purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, ideal size and shape ice cubes, holds a weeks worth of groceries with ease, roomy freezer
Cons: lacks butter tray compartment, lacks extra space for large pitchers or gallon jug
I would recommend this to a friend!

Our refrigerator looks stunning, but the noise that it makes completely cancels how nice it looks. There are several different noises this unit makes that not even our old refrigerator came close to making. The worst is the sound of what i guess is the compressor. When it runs, you can hear it all the way in the family room. This is sooooo annoying. And from everything i've read in other reviews is that samsung's support is terrible and therefore i haven't even bothered with the headache of contacting them and trying to get it resolved. The other noise is the ice maker. It is exceptionally loud when it drops ice. The other noise is random popping sounds. The manual says all these noises are normal. There is no way these are normal. I can not recommend anyone buy this refrigerator.

This fridge was a great deal!

Love this fridge! The water dispenser area is large enough for my Tervis cup! I love the adjustable shelving in the fridge. The sliding drawers in the freezer are so helpful too! It really helps that it's an energy saver!

Heavy freezer inside drawer difficult to open

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I had it to do all over again I would buy the side by side refrigerator instead of the freezer on the bottom. The drawer inside the freezer is very difficult to open and gets stuck! The refrigerator is awkward because the full size drawer can only be pulled out if you open both refrigerator doors which is awkward to hold open. Poor design.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, freezer drawer sticks and difficult to open
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the ice that the ice maker makes

This refrigerator is the best one I've ever owned. There is so much space in the fridge section and freezer section. The ice is perfect.

Worst ice maker !!

Refrigerator/ freezer is good but ice maker is the worst. Ice maker freezes up causing it to clog and stop making ice until you remove the tray and beat the frozen clog. What a hassle.
Also we have wood flooring and the freezer causes condensation to drip on the floor. Would not recommend this to a friend. Front display controls not easy to see or use. Since then i have bought LG products. No more Samsung !

Better than expected

Prior to purchase I read other reviews and was skeptical. Biggest raised concern was Ice Maker was to noisy and some poor recommendations. Samsung from my own past personal history was not good but the price was right and a friend had a Samsung fridge and was happy. So we purchased and were pleasantly surprised. The ice maker noise complaint is only when it drops ice, big deal, at least I know it is making ice. Wife's happy so I'm happy. Happy wife happy life. ;-)
Pros: reasonable price
I would recommend this to a friend!
