French Door Refrigerator

I replaced this refrigerator with a french door unit that had an ice maker and a water dispenser that took up way too much space in my refrigerator so I did NOT buy this refrigerator for the ice maker or the water dispenser and it's a good thing. The ice maker mades 8 cubes every 2 hours and the interior water dispenser drips. We have a stand alone ice maker and have really good tap water. Will be turning off the water to the refrigerator.
Cons: water dispenser drips, inadequate ice maker output
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice melts all over inside and makes a mess all over the floor when ever you dispense ice. makes ice slowly.
Pros: none
Cons: Poor quality

Big capacity, well designed

After too many repairs on the old fridge, when it stopped cooling after eight years, we looked for a new one of a different make. Their repairman can go back to sleep. The biggest fridge I found with no water/ice in the front door was this Samsung. We like the French doors, the shelf layout and the digital temperature displays. The door bins that hold gallon jugs of milk are handy. I think the bottom freezer drawer is a more energy efficient design than the side by side and top freezer types.
This is our first ice maker, and it does work OK. But it will fill the bin too full and spill ice chunks behind the freezer drawer. We have to watch the ice level and use the "ice off" button fairly often. This issue was not serious enough to deduct a star from the rating.

Superior Design Compared to other refrigerators

We received the new refrigerator today and love it. We looked at several other stainless steel refrigerator models and chose Samsung for it's superior design, LED lighting, interior layout and beautiful exterior. The price was within our budget compared to other manufacturers comparable models which were more expensive with less features. Samsung really surprised us, topping our choice of refrigerator models within our price range. The feature that sold us was the water filter location inside the model in addition to the "clam shell" deli drawer. This is our first Samsung product purchase and we hope it performs and lasts as good as it looks.

I would not recommend this product because of the poor quality. the ice maker has been replaced 3 times because of freezing up, small and broke cubes. It still freezes up at times and I have to remove the tray and remove jammed cubes. this is the second machine because the first one was replaced because the cabinet was leaking and no repair parts were available. The machine is noisy and at times sounds as if the compressor is going bad or as if the fan blade is hitting something . The noise is loud and can be heard through out the house.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the freezer at the bottom & the french door design makes you feel like you have twice the space. Fantastic cheese & meat drawer keeps everything fresh much longer. Love the ice & cold water accessibility in the door.

It is not cooling and leaking water. It had been repaired it and the problem is back after 6 months.
