Don’t buy this product

we bought this model expecting an ice maker. it broke soon after we bought it. the back of the fridge gets ice build up and under the vegetable drawers leaks water. save your money!

this is a great fridge if you don’t mind taking the whole thing apart about every 13-14 days to defrost the fridge. it hasn’t made ice in 7 months. junk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ice maker build up is awful! the refrigerator compartment has ice all over it, and there is water in my drawers from the condensation on the inside of the fridge.

Do Not Buy!!!

i would not recommend purchasing this refrigerator. the ice maker continually freezes over, stops making ice and has to be defrosted. the drawers have crevices that food particles get in and it is difficult to take them apart to get them clean. the door shelves are hard to remove for cleaning. i have owned many samsung products and always been happy but not with this refrigerator.

very frustrated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have had nothing but trouble with this fridges ice maker and freezing up. i have the ice maker replaced 2 times and i have to unthaw it about every other month or so. it all started just before the warranty and after the warranty ended. i have had to pay out of pocket twice to put in a new ice maker, and the problem still is not fixed. there is no ice, it will not make any ice. i have resulted to buying bags of ice keeping them in the freezer for drinks. whats the use of having an ice maker if it never works.

Not Designed Efficiently

we thought having a refrigerator this size would be perfect for our family because we downsized from a family of seven to a family of four. we were wrong.
even with reconfiguring the inside panels we were unable to create enough space for simple things like jugs of milk and leftover containers. there is little room for packaged fruit and prepacked lunches or food that is prepared for sunday dinner. plan to throw away food if you need to store casserole dishes or anything that must be stored overnight for dinner tge next day. the side compartments are oddly shaped and does not allow enough room for jars and condiments. the ice maker also leaks occassionally.the fridge could have been designed better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Design flaw

the ice maker on this fridge stopped working a long time ago. ice jams up and we've had problems with water pooling under the crisper drawers. recently came across a facebook page dedicated to issues just like ours. never again. design flaws with no accountability from the company
