Sure, we liked the features and the looks, but we appreciated the quality and the after-purchase customer service ratings even more. Frigidaire has a great record on this score. Other ranges with high scores for features, etc. had poor reliability and after-sale customer service ratings. Now that the range is in our kitchen and we've used it for a while, we our even happier with our choice. It's absolutely beautiful!

Works great, but a few poorly designed features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Range looks great and works great. Love the 3 baking racks, different sizes of burners, and wide broiler flame. Several unfortunate issues, however: the grates sit much higher above the flame than any other stove I've used.This means I use a lot more gas to cook. The burner covers slide off the burners at the slightest touch. The control panel is extremely hard to read. The burner controls are larger than they need to be and stick out accordingly. Also, the numbers on the controls are impossible to read. The center griddle is so small as to be useless. It should extend from front to back as most stove's griddles do - it's cast iron and so it will heat evenly from edge to edge.

Features offer great versatility

We prepare favorites taught to us by grandparents, but we also enjoy preparing meals inspired by other cultures. Our new range enables us to experiment with new techniques through the use of the different burner sizes on the stovetop, to varying the temperature programming of the oven. We are very happy with our choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a similar model Frigidaire from when we build our house 17 years ago. Luckily the line still looks the same so we had choices to go with our existing kitchen look. We went with a slightly more feature rich model because we have developed our interest in cooking, but not sure all of the added features are worth it.
One of the more useful features is the convection oven, and as a reminder, this is a real convection oven, not just a simple fan to circulate the air. We're still learning our way around the feature, but large cuts of meats do seem to cook much quicker and evenly. Hope to discover all this part of the equation has to offer.
The other feature that I am quite impressed with was one I barely noticed while shopping, the front 18,000 BTU burner. Wow, does this thing produce heat! Getting that pasta pot to boil has never been quicker.
Now for some of the less impressive bells and whistles. The center burner has pretty much been a mystery to me. It doesn't seem to throw enough heat to really use the as a griddle, I suppose we could use to keep certain pots warming, but with the standard size of the stove top, there's not really enough usable space for more than 4 items. The other feature that has performed below expectations is the internal meat thermometer. It never works as accurate as our good quality old fashion-non digital model. So that now resides in the box it came in.
If I had to purchase again today, I would look for a 4-burner model with the full convection feature and a high BTU burner. Though to be fair, I'm not sure it would be any cheaper as this was very fairly priced.
Have always been a fan of this line. They're very solid, and when parts need replacing they're readily available and easy to install. Would still be using my old model, but an accident durning a kitchen project left it with enough damage that I couldn't justify the price of all the parts (glass and such).
