[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty much the same as the frigidaire range I replaced. I thought after 15 year there would be improvements in the stove top finish, but after having it only 3.5 months, the paint is already dull and discolored around the burners. It is also harder to clean around the burners as they are sealed (my mistake I did not realize that) and cannot remove the housing to clean. Also hard to cook on/regulate the temperature on the fast boil burners.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am dismayed that you are not enjoying your new range, jo jo dec. Gentle scrubbing with a soapy no-scratch cleaning pad will remove most spots. Rinse with a 1:1 solution of clear water and ammonia. If necessary, cover difficult spots with an ammonia-soaked paper towel for 30 to 40 minutes. Rinse with clean water and a damp cloth, and then scrub with a soap-filled no-scratch cleaning pad. Rinse and wipe dry with a clean cloth. Do not allow food spills with high sugar or acid content (milk, tomatoes, sauerkraut, fruit juices or pie filling) to remain on the surface; they may cause a dull spot even after cleaning. Pages 35 and 36 in your Owner’s Manual show how to remove the burner caps and clean the surface burners. The front right burner is the power burner (best for bringing large quantities of liquid to a boil), and the rear right burner is the low simmer burner (best for cooking delicate foods and sauces). Please refer to page 9 in your installation instructions for proper flame and ignition adjustment directions. Smudge less!

Love that feature so much that when I bought a new over the stove microwave that I took back one that I already purchased to buy the Gallary microwave.

Beautiful, functional oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this oven for about 2 months now, and it's great. I love the convection feature - I use it all the time! I did notice that I had to run a self clean cycle otherwise my smoke detector went off, even though I didn't see any smoke. Since I did that, it's been wonderful

New gas stove

It features large-hot burner, middle griddle, simmer burner and grates that are across the entire top! Very convienient and efficient for space and pot storage. The oven meets all your baking needs (convection option) and 3 solid racks. The smudge proof stainless steel was why I purchased it. E-Z to clean and love the look.
