Performs Perfectly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't think that any mid-price oven could perform better than this model Frigidaire. I love the look of it, but it's performance is where it really stands out. The optional convection oven gives you the best of both methods and the convect-convert allows you to easily experiment with cooking or baking your favorite dishes. I bake a lot of bread, and don't want to use the convection oven for that, but it works great for many other dishes. I haven't detected any hotspots and it's calibrated perfectly. The stove top is a dream to work with - you can precisely control the flame and the cast iron grills are practical and beautiful. It is easy to operate, very intuitive controls. This appliance proves you don't have to spend a fortune to get a high-performance range. I just hope that it stands up to years of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because I needed a dishwasher and fridge and I wanted everything to match - what I love is that the burners work so quickly - it takes no time at all to warm things, cook and even the oven comes to temperature very fast. Only thing that I miss on my old oven is the bottom drawer is not as deep and I can't store as many pans!

LOVE my Frigidaire

I bought my Frigidaire Gallery gas range a year ago. I LOVE to cook, have All-Clad cookware, the best small appliances, etc. I've used my stove A LOT in the past year. I cook every day for my family. I love to bake as well.
PROS: Love the large burner. It has enough power to get my cast iron pans up to heat to sear steaks, etc. It boils water very fast. The "simmer' burner is awesome. Italian Sunday Gravy (a staple in Italian households) simmers away for hours without scorching. The controls are extremely precise. The convection oven is every baker's dream. It works perfectly and my cookies come out soft and golden. LOVE the griddle - perfect pancakes and grilled cheese.
cons: The stovetop shows every speck of bacon grease that spatters. I go through can after can of spray cleaner. Once clean, it's gorgeous. But after one cooking, you need to thoroughly clean the stovetop, which means removing the grates and the burners. I get tired of cleaning the stovetop constantly - my old stove was electric and white - so I didn't see the spatters from grease.
In Summary: I love my Frigidaire Gallery and consider it to be one of my best purchases. I'll be buying the matching dishwasher next.

French Door, bottom freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little sketchy at first -- items in back on top shelf froze. For some reason that has resolved itself. Also, came home a everything in bottom freezer defrosting. Not sure why, but it is freezing items now.
