[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price I think this microwave is well worth it. Looks great on the counter and does not take up to much space, easy enough to use (read the instructions though) and cooks items well.

This is a sharp looking microwave and round out my suite of Café Brand appliances. Very powerful, and not noisy, vents well...so much better than my last microwave it can't even compare! Looking forward to convection use...haven't tried yet!

Modern upgrade - Lovely microwave

Upgraded our old GE microwave. Very happy. Sleek, easy to clean, very quiet (compared to our old unit). Weren't sure about the dial knob at first, but it works fine and keeps the keypad clutter to a minimum. We also appreciate the dual cook functionality - microwave for 85% of our needs, combination convection oven for holidays and other times when our primary oven is occupied.

The microwave is top shelf and does what it is supposed to do very very well. The only feature, thus far, that I am not too thrilled with is that you can only set the timer for increments of 15 seconds. I would have preferred a "set time" according to the user desires, i.e.: 10 seconds, 11, 12 or whatever as opposed to only in 15 second groups. Other than that the unit is excellent.

From unsure to SURE!

We were very unsure we wanted to spend the extra money on a convection microwave oven but ended up being very glad we did. We use the microwave for everything now and it has proven to be our favorite appliance that we purchased in our remodeling job.

I purchased this ge cafe microwave for style and function it's a combo microwave and convection oven,I was surprised that after a year the unit required repair, the convection heating unit wouldn't shut off unless the unit was unplugged
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
