Great Oven

It is decent microwave. looks nice and match up with all the other GE cafe appliances I have in my new kitchen. I only used oven function once, and it seems much slower than regular oven. I dont think you can use that for your baking etc. I just hope the GE cafe series have simplier and cheaper microwave so I can pay less for it since my regular oven is much better. I just need a microwave for heating something quick but it matches whole kitchen look. If you dont care, you dont need to spend that much for this. Also, the inside has stainless metal, somehow, it got colored stains like burned that I am not able to clean it off. I tried different cleaners, no matter what I do, it is still there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The open door button gets stuck often!

Disappointing

We bought a new house and the entire Cafe series of appliances to replace the old GE appliances. So far we've only installed the refrigerator and the microwave, because only one of them works correctly, and it's not the microwave. Like the refrigerator, the microwave looks great and was very easy to install, but once we turned it on we found THE DIAL (essential for setting the temp., selecting cooking options, etc.) DOESN'T WORK. Every other button works, except the dial. When we turn it nothing happens and nothing happens when we press it in. It doesn't work at all and now we have to wait a week for a repair person to service it. Disappointing to say the least.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Microwave, Convection Oven.... needs work

We tried to cook fries in this when our kitchen was being remodeled and we were waiting on the ovens. It took an hour? Two? The convection cooking works in a pinch, but I'd never use it unless we were in a major bind! Microwave functions great though.
