What a FANTASTIC Refrigerator!!!
We originally went to buy a frig smaller than a 27 cu and in white,
as we continued our journey for a new frig we always came back
to look at this one again.
In the end we are thrilled with our new Samsung 28 cu refrigerator!!
Love the space and water and ice on demand is wonderful.
The ability to control the temperature in the frig and freezer is a
big plus!

Love the Door in Door

This has been a great Refrigerator so far. We went from a side by side so it took a little while to get the use to the doors. Love the Door in Door and the tempature reading on the door. The freezer door could slide out a little more but it will hold a lot.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have really enjoyed the fridge but after 6 weeks the ice maker quit and have had to call for repair. Not good Samsung!

This frig is very roomy, absolutely love how you can open the one door & access milk or whatever without having to open the entire frig up. The lighting is beautiful...very clean & fresh looking. The slide in shelf is very handy & the tilt up shelf is an added bonus. I love the panty drawer, so handy. The vegetable & fruit bins are very roomy. The freezer holds a lot of items although the little rack located on the inside of the door is cheap material. I am disappointed in that since the rest of the frig seems durable. It is very quiet & a beautiful addition to my kitchen. You will not be disappointed in purchasing this frig. Nearly all my appliances & electronics are Samsung & I have yet to be disappointed in their performance. I think it is a bit pricey, but all the comparable frig's are in the same price range, so.....it is what it is.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, extra features, beautiful design, beautiful lighting
Cons: cheap material little shelf inside freezer door

Almost perfect

We looked at French door refrigerators from all the major brands but chose this one because of its Consumer Reports rating and the interior layout. There are only two things that I consider drawbacks. The first is those deep bins in the freezer. I haven't yet figured out how to organize them so that I can easily see what's in there. Most of our frozen items are in smaller containers so I need to dig through the top layers to see what's on the bottom. The top tray is fine for the items we use most often. The other drawback is that there's a depression to catch drips beneath the ice and water dispenser, but there's no removable tray that fits in that depression to make it level and prevent a glass from tipping over when you set it there. In the showroom the sales people claim that the window shoppers take the trays, but I talked to our dealer and then to Samsung and then to their parts distributor and it seems that's the way it's supposed to be - no insert required and no insert available. If so, I consider that a design defect in need of correction.
