Great refrigerator, but it took two deliveries to get it right

Love the new refrigerator, but it took a second delivery/fix to get it right. The first one had a problem with the split door not separating from the inner door when the trigger was pulled. It seemed to have a magnetic or suction attraction that prevented the doors from separating easily. I could manually separate them once open though, so it was not the trigger mechanism. When a second one was delivered, we just swapped out the right split door, and now it works great.
Pros: attractive, functional

My husband and I bought this the other day and it works great! As soon as we got it plugged in, it started to quickly cool itself. It was only 3 hours before it got to its target temperature! There is tons of room for everything and then some! It is an amazing fridge!
Pros: Bright display, spacious, decent shelves

My French door refrigerator

Features Don't Work

Have owned our fridge for 1 month. The door in door has not worked since it was delivered. The small outside door doesn't close completely. We have had a new door on order for a month. The water dispenser leaks drops of water. We immediately turn it to "cubed" ice after we use the water dispenser to try and curb the leak. We followed the installation instructions exactly as other users were saying there were air bubbles in the line; still didn't make a difference. This is just a flaw with these refrigerators. The bottom freezer drawer does not pull out completely, so it is not convenient to see what is in the back of the drawer. Samsung had some good ideas, but they aren't worth much when they don't work. The length of time it takes to get parts is ridiculous. Will go back to American made and I won't be buying Samsung any time soon.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great fridge

I purchased this fridge 3 months ago, this is an overall awesome fridge. Plenty of ice, cold water and sleek design. The freezer has tons of room which is why i went with this model over the two french door models. The metal cooling is a great addition and keeps beers (or whatever else you store in the door) extra chilled. It is nice and quiet as well. The only complaint i have is the inside layout doesnt give as much room as i would like for tall items such as 2 liters or gallons of milk, these are best stored in the door on the showcase side. I don't always want to store my extra gallons in the door, plus it only holds two gallons of milk--barely. I like to keep more of my frequently used small items in the showcase, it is convenient not to have to open the big doors for a quick grab. Inside drawer is huge and i love it. The layout does do a great job at allowing you to see everything, no more lost forgotten items in the back of the fridge! Lighting is also very nice, bright but easy on the eyes. The stainless steel looks great but it is a bit of a nightmare to keep clean, a good cleaner will keep you sane.
Pros: Bright display, quiet, energy efficient
Cons: not enough room for the tall stuff

Great product

Overall love this refrigerator. We've had it about 5 weeks now Our only issue is we run out of ice faster than with my old May tag. Here the comparison stops. Wait time for new ice takes some time. To Samsungs credit we have been using the dispenser a little more often than the norm for ice packs on achey joints, but we've only been able to average 3 ice packs at the most and maybe 3 cups of ice for drinking in a 3 hour period before the ice pretty much "dries up".
Otherwise great unit !
