Its serval problems with it.

my ice maker went out 3 times. my warrenty expired and my refrigerator will not keep my food cool. i cant keep milk or cheese in there. i have to unplug it once a month to keep it cool. until im able to buy another one.

Looks nice... works poorly

this fridge i loved. absolutely loved. then the issues started. ice maker quit one day. started freezing. then i found out from friends the issues with these models. nearly all of their models have issues and poorly made equipment inside. lots of users have the same issue and samsung is refusing to consider it a defect issue. when everyone has the same issues across years of products it has more than a hiccup. i wish they would put out better quality material and appliances. their reputation on the line and their expectations should be of customer satisfaction. i'd pay more for better quality and a product they would back fully.

Ice Maker problems

the ice maker needs to be redesigned. the ice pieces get stuck and the ice does not drop through the dispenser. i've had this problem since i bought the refrigerator. i would not recommend this refrigerator to anyone. let me know if anybody else has had the same issues.

Negative 5 stars! DO NOT BUY!!

bought this model may 2017. the icemaker went out about a year after. the ice maker was worked on and/or replaced twice. it constantly freezes over. you have to completely remove the ice bin, and chip off the ice that freezes around the ice maker. you cannot shut the ice maker off if you want to use the water dispenser. now the fridge is leaking! the water froze the bottom drawer inside the fridge which then cracked. water leaks out the bottom of the fridge and ice is building up on the freezer door! the ice maker issue is well known with samsung. these issues have been going on since 2014! there is a class-action lawsuit pending right now. they have refused to fix this issue and continue to send out defective ice makers in their products. buyer beware!!

we bought this fridge in 2016 and it has been nothing but a headache. it's more than just problems with the icemaker - the inner guts of the fridge easily get covered with ice. this causes all kinds of very loud noises and after a certain amount of time, the temperature regulator will not work right. appliance repairmen have to take everything apart and de-ice it. then it works fine for awhile ---until the ice builds up again. apparently there is no fix for this as it keeps happening over and over. you are wasting your money, will stop working ever 6 months. save your money dont buy.

Class action anyone?

how is there not a class action on the samsung fridge yet. for two years i fought with samsung to fix the fridge, it would ice up around the fan which would stop all air circulation. they finally did something so it doesn't stop anymore, but it constantly sounds like the fan is hitting ice, it is super loud. as for the ice maker, we have all but given up. chipping out the ice build-up in the ice maker gets so old, and my wife and i fight about who's turn it is (it's definitly her's since i'm the only one that has ever done it) to clean it. sure wish samsung could make this right somehow, i might be willing to consider giving them a 2nd chance.

Freezes everything

we bought this some time ago and hated it. the fridge itself is nice but it constantly freezes my food. i was constantly throwing food and vegetables away because it will freeze. we disconnect it from the water thinking it was throwing water but no it will continue to freeze and everytime in a different spot. i ended up having to get a new fridge because of this problem. i will i knew to look up reviews about this fridge before purchasing this refrigerator because i would have never purchased it.

Awful Ice maker

have had rhis refrigerator for 7 years. the ice maker is awful tried every fix numerous times. the only thing that works is a forced defrost weekly. overall the fridge looks very nice but isnt as practical. the ice maker takes up a lot of fridge space. the shelves aren’t as moveable when used with actual items in the fridge.
