Very efficient

I've had my new washer for about 6 weeks. It senses the load so it only uses the water it needs & adjusts the wash time. I'm about 5'6''. The tub is deep on a concrete floor. I have to wear shoes so I stand on my toes so I can reach the bottom of the tub. Very quiet. My king size comforter fits w/o stuffing it full. Just a great washer. I would recommend highly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this with my washer. Takes hours to dry everything. I know it is not the vents as my old dryer worked great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet and Easy to Use

This dryer replaced one that was 26 years old, so my basis for comparison is a bit like comparing a 1988 car to a 2014 model.
I'm fairly tech-savvy, but I'm cautious about appliances with electronic controls; I don't want to have to program my dryer for a pile of wet laundry (how many ways do you need to dry your underwear?). I've been pleasantly surprised by how easy this one is to use. The primary control dial is similar to an old-school appliance, with the added flexibility of a few well labeled touch-select settings to adjust temperature, dryness level, etc.
It does a good job of drying most loads, although it took a few tries to dry a heavy blanket with no other items. And this dryer is quiet--MUCH more quiet than my old dryer. That's important to me, because my laundry room is adjacent to the family room where I watch TV. My only complaint (and it's minor) is that the cycle-complete chime is too low to hear very well, even at its loudest setting.

Shorter drying time, saves money

This dryer cut my drying time almost in half, saving me money, and time. PS; our LG washer we bought 2 years ago is also great.

I bought this dryer along with the companion washer. It can fit all of my bulky bedding items inside, and everything drys so quickly. I love that it is so quiet and efficient. It doesn't take up too much space especially for a large-capacity dryer and the style/design is appealing. I would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!!
