Excellent Drying with a Liltingly Lovely Tune

I was worried about choosing a gas dryer after a lifetime of electric dryers. This LG model has a great variety of features and a beautiful chime to denote the end of the cycle. I'm really glad this choice worked out so well, because it looks like i will also need to replace my washing machine soon, too. Thanks LG!

Great Dryer!

We replaced a Maytag 9000 which was unable to do small loads.This dryer is able to do small loads 95% of the time which is important for some delicates and other special items. We tried this dryer on comforters and it also performed very well although we did need to run it through a couple of extra cycles. While the controls look formidable compared to some older models, even my technology challenged wife has been able to learn the settings very quickly. Large loads, small loads, it does them all and after learning the settings, clothes are dry when the alarm goes off. We have not experienced that before.

We recently purchase a new dryer, Model DLG4971W which is so quiet that I sometimes wonder if it is on. In addition, it is very efficient even though it has a large capacity drum for large loads. The control panel is easy to use and provides a nice range of controls to make the drying cycle more energy efficient without over drying. I would highly recommend this product because of its capacity, efficiency and ease of use.

Washes and drys so quickly

I bought the washer and matching dryer a couple of months ago. So far I love it. I wanted to wait just to see if I really did like it. So far it is awesome. It drys so quickly. It's quite and I love it!

Best Dryer I Have Ever Owned!

I bought this dryer in July of 2015. It is the third dryer I have personally owned and it is one of many dryers I have used over the years. It is truly the best dryer I have ever used. It dries the clothes quickly and efficiently. The clothes come out wrinkle-free every time. It is quiet and easy to use.

This is the best dryer I have ever owned. It dries clothes quickly and without wrinkles. It has a capacity to do my king size bedspread.

Has some issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The signal is so faint, then even when I am sitting in the next room, with the signal on high, I can barely hear it.
When the Wrinkle Care feature is useless, since the signal doesn't sound when the main cycle is finished. It would be useful, if the signal sounded when the main cycle finished and then periodically while Wrinkle Care is running.
The preset cycles don't actually dry anything. I have tested several loads of different types and none of them were even close to dry using the preset cycles.
