Live in an apartment. Wanted something that sounded good and did not take up a lot of room. Works with my Sony 50" TV (btw I am a Sony person). This is not only good, but great for me. Has enough sound for the apartment, looks great, easy to set up, everything I wanted and more. A real keeper.

Great quality. I like a booming sound. This is a well powered quality device but lacking power I desire for the money I paid. Only downside but besides that it's pretty powerful. I would note also the Bluetooth quality is much less than hdmi quality. In case you want to use this for Bluetooth alot I wouldn't reccomend. Kind of choppy.

I wanted better speakers for my bedroom TV. This box way performs better then I expected. I stream music from my phone to it, use it with my roku, use it with my bluray player, and when we watch TV. Love the sound, plenty of base for the bedroom. Thanks Sony

I bought the Sony HTXT1 to upgrade the sound quality for my bedroom TV. I have a LG LED TV, and while I'm happy with the picture, the sound quality is terrible. This unit does the trick. It's low profile with the integrated subwoofer. As far as sound, it has good low end from the subwoofer, which can be separately adjusted, and it makes dialogue more clear. I compared it to my TV speakers and the improvement in sound quality is obvious. An audiophile might find faults with it, but for everyday use, it's great.

Really excellent soundbar. Really enhances the sound from the TV and makes you feel like you have surround sound.Bought it because I had the sound on the TV cranked up really high and still couldn't make out the dialogue. This really helped. Am glad I bought it.

Great upgrade from built in speakers.

Spot on upgrade for my 50" Pany Plasma. Fills a moderate sized room with good sound and a great bass enhancement. Hook up is super simple and there are adequate HDMI connections.
I like the simplicity and quality.

This is an attractive and versatile unit. I like a sound deck so much more than a sound bar and separate subwoofer. It greatly improves on the sound of our HD TV, even providing a surround sound experience and the ability to bluetooth music from my tablet and phone is an additional reason to buy this unit.
