But there really should be a more low profile for girls with boney wrists size!!! Still loving the fitness and sleep monitoring as well as the apps that run on it.
Pros: Bright display, accurate
Cons: just a little too bulky

I love the gear fit I wear it day and night and not a scratch only with it gave more accurate sleep data and was oppend up to other devices I use mine with a droid turbo but I don't have access to all the features

I've had the Gear Fit for about one week. The heart rate monitor is excellent and fairly accurate. The pedometer is good, but I haven't had it long enough to evaluate its accuracy.
I work in an building where phone service becomes very weak. However, I can now leave the phone in covered, discreet area near a window, and will instantly receive notification of a text or call. The Bluetooth range is very good.
The downside is that now many apps are available to fully customize the display and usability of this watch. I'd like to change the font color of the clock and other function, but I guess this is expected in the early stages of development.
Highly recommended product, nonetheless!

Cons: unavailability of full customization

I absolutely love my gear fit. I wanted a Fitbit for Christmas but my family got me the Gear Fit instead and I have a friend that has a Fitbit so we compared them and the Gear Fit is way more accurate. The only thing they can improve on is the cycling feature, I only get on a bike at the gym and it doesn't work with that. I would it if they improved the sleep feature so it would tell you how many times you woke up during the night. Overall, I will stick with the Gear Fit and I recommend it to everyone. My friend that has the Fitbit is looking at getting a Gear Fit.

Bought the Samsung Gear for my wife, she immediately made it part of her arm and began to worry when she didn't have it on. Amazing...my wife is a techno-phobe and this she loved. I bought it last June for her birthday and yesterday 3/15/2015 it died, we had a ceremony.
It appears that the only button (mechanical) collapsed...as if the stainless steel dome below just gave up. Usually these domes are rated in the millions of button pushes. Not this one.
I'm going to look around and see if there is a more robust unit on the market that will fill the void, the rating should be 5's across the board, but it just didn't last.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

MORE THAN A WATCH

I am close to retiring and for years a company would give a Gold Watch. Years of devotion to a company is barely recognized. But with this gift by my husband it feels good. I like the features, it is very intuitive; I already made a quick jpeg for new wallpaper. It is effortless and I like the email notifications a lot! I can choose to ignore them or react and it is in my control--makes the emails and calls less invasive AND you get both hands BACK no longer clutching a phone.
I think they should incorporate these in a business setting.

This product is basically a glorified pedometer. It would be nicer if you could track more exercises than running, walking or hiking. While the style is nice and the screen displays more than the other famous brand, it sometimes gets buggy and needs to be reset, which there are no instructions on THIS site to assist the user on how to do that, you have to scour the internet for a solution on your own. Most recently, there was an update to the Gear Fit Manager app for the phone to synch this device with, that caused the device to be unable to connect. When attempting to remove and reinstall the app...discovered it no longer exists for free. Now you have to PAY for it. Oh and there are no other apps that will provide the same functionality for this wonderful device. NICE! So now what do I have? A watch?
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no app to manage since the update, not enough options for fitness, no centralized location for support/fixes
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this "smart" tracker

I love the display on this device. Bright, colorful (if you want it) and a well made wristband. I checked it's heartrate monitor while working out and it was a decent amount off in the calories burned. I'm not sure what to do about that. The main reason I gave it 3 stars is because of the inability to link with my fitness pal. It has it's own food tracker, but no barcode scanner.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: no integration with my fitness pal, doesn't seem to have accurate calories burned from
