One major flaw

I have only had my Gear Fit for about a day and I love it, but the one big flaw I have discovered is that it doesn't sync with MyFitnessPal. If it would have the ability to do this, I would be 100% satisfied. There's nothing better than being able to combine two great services to get an overall picture of your health. Samsung, if your listening....let Gear Fit sync with MyFitnessPal and/or MapMyFitness. I know you would have many happy customers.

I received this watch for Christmas and started off using it just for the pedometer and watch function. But within a few weeks I was using it for the exercise function too. Love that you can decline calls from the watch and it is sleek and stylish enough for business wear. I get compliments on it everywhere I go. Between the watch and Weight Watchers I have lost 9 pounds in 4 weeks! I intend to keep changing my wallpaper to keep myself inspired and keep going! It worked well with my Samsung Galaxy SIII, but looking forward to even more options with my new S5.

the watch/ fit band looks really nice. The curved screen just kinda fits with it to. It looks like something from the future and has alot of features with it. Only problems are is that sometimes you need to press on an app more than once to open it and the heart rate sensor is not so good. The battery life is also pretty good. The brightness is good but it could be better. I would recommend this to anyone. It doesn't just have to apply to people with a fit lifestyle. Last thing, it's had an ip67 rating for dust and water resistance, but it's not shock proof witch for a fitness band, is kind of a let down.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, ip67 rating
Cons: Not high def

Great while it lasted

Initially I loved this watch and enjoyed every function it had to offer. I would challenge myself daily to beat my previous days steps, monitor my HR and occasionally my sleep. I loved that it would alert me to phone calls, as well as receive text messages. I received this as a mothers day gift in 2014 and wore it every single day until it broke in the beginning of April(2015). I was very disappointed when I realized it was no longer working. The button to initiate the display had broken, most likely due to the fact that I wore the watch on my L wrist placing the button at the bend between my wrist and hand. Because I could not find the receipt or the original box there is nothing I could do to get it replaced.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, design flaw

I have had my gear fit for 2 weeks and I love it. It is well worth the price. Best investment in fit products.

love the technology - hate the band, now it's gone forever . . .

Gear Fit is lightweight, easy to setup and use. Works fabulously with my Samsung smartphone & tablet! I've been using it several months and really like it for the fitness features and the Bluetooth technology to get certain updates where I didn't have to have my smartphone out. However, I no longer have my Gear Fit - the one draw back that I was concerned with came true this past Sunday (May 17, 2015) and that was with the band design. The way the band is designed, as I found out several times over the past months, that if it gets caught on something (like my shoulder bag or placing my hand in coat pocket) it will pop off. I've even woke up to find my Gear Fit missing from my wrist & on the floor. Would I purchase another Gear Fit? Would I recommend Gear Fit to a friend? YES, IF and only IF the band is redesigned where it will NOT come off until I remove it from my wrist. Now, I have to believe that I'm not the only one that this has happened to. I have made an attempt to contact Samsung regarding my experience but was on hold via chat for too long - I will try again later. I love my Samsung products, I have several and I hope they will seriously look at this band design & fix it.

Was cool at first

Fit was cool at first then less than 30 days in it got stuck in a continuous reboot loop. I see a lot of comments online about this issue, but no real solution other than sending it back to Samsung for repair or replacement.

purchased online... Battery lasts for about 2 days... Presently surprised how well the phone/watch compliment each other. I already enjoy getting text notifications and score alerts on the watch (versus just the phone). Will buy newer versions as the products get better.
