Gear fit has great features

I brought the Gear Fit to keep track of my activities. The features on the Gear fit are great. I was recommend this product to a friend.

really awesome needs a more watch like feel

I like the fact its like a activity tracker. Be nice if they made one similiar to the gear2 watch in a sense. Other then that just improve the battery life on it and make it easier to open and close on the display andnit would be perfect.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no speaker to listen to stuff through the watch

simple and elegant design actually works

I bought 2 of these one for my husband and one for myself. We both own Samsung phones so I can not speak to the ease of use with other android devices. I had researched smart watches with fitness trackers extensively before buying the gear fit. I also looked into just fitness trackers with HR monitors. I chose the gear fit because of its simplicity, smart shape and because of the connection to my messages and phone calls. I have not missed a call or message since. I could not imagine myself walking and talking to my wrist so I did not want a watch that made calls. It is so simple to use you can clear notifications in one tap or read them if you wish. If your phone is in one room where you can't hear it the vibration on your wrist lets you know you have a call or message, so I can leave my phone in my purse. The heart rate monitor is good and the connection to S health is great . There is a good selection of apps out for the Gear Fit, navigation is one I use when in a new place. We have been wearing them since before Christmas and really like them. My husband is a racquetball play so the Gear Fit gets some rough play.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, attractive, long lasting charge
Cons: i really have none

Awesome Product. Just missing social integration.

I love the Gear Fit! Perfect pedometer which goes the extra mile of keeping me aware of my alerts (texts and calls) when my phone is not in hand and on silent. The S Health app is an awesome tracker and with keeping up on the trends and averages, it keeps me motivated.
The only thing I wish Samsung would add is a social integration feature/app. Currently, I have friends who also use the Gear Fit. We created a group on Google Hangouts to share our stats and keep in the loop on fitness, but it would be nice to have an actual app to do so with enhanced features that had the ability to connect Gear Fit users. I hate to mention other products but several friends have a Fitbit and love this feature. I totally see the benefits of social integration. Please consider this Samsung. It would only make me love my Gear Fit that much more.

For those who don't want something as fancy as the Gear S2, but wants some of the same features, this is a great product. I don't have to have my phone out all the time but know when I get a text or anything else I want it to notify me about. Plus it has all the fitness feature that your fitbit would have.

The Gear Fit is even better than I expected. The "Find My Device Option" alone makes this one of the best buys I've made. I love the way it sync's texts and messages. I've worn it every day since I purchased it.
