Great Product and Motivator

Many of my coworkers have the FitBit, but I am a Samsung junkie and went with the Samsung Gear Fit after reading and watching several reviews of it. I've always been satisfied with Samsung. With this Gear Fit, I am using my phone less at work because I can, check the time, get messages sent to my Gear Fit as well as reject phone calls, and most importantly track my steps. The Gear Fit has motivated me to walk and I love meeting my goal. Today, I did accidentally use the emergency feature while trying to check my steps. Needless to say, my sister phoned the police and they were at my job within 5 minutes. I informed them that it was an accident, but at least I know it works. Overall, great product, and my FitBit coworkers like it as well.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

I enjoy the size of the Gear Fit, but the one I have is missing the sleep function, the main reason I purchased the product. Overall, I like it. It's not big and bulky, and it's super easy to use. Working out with this is nice, but I feel like it doesn't do everything I need it to do.
Overall, I'm pleased, I just wish it was better supported and had a little more functionality.

I love the fact that it counts steps, measures my heart rate, and I can see all of my notifications from my phone.

One of the best mid-range fitness trackers available

The Samsung Gear Fit was my first fitness tracker. I initially bought it as a means to track my steps (I live in a city that isn't great for driving, so I walk everywhere), as well as my sleep. When I saw that the Gear Fit has a heart rate monitor, that was a feature I had to have, as well. It syncs up nicely with my phone (currently a Note 5), and there are a number of apps available which work with the Gear Fit to record in detail everything from exercise routines to getting a restful sleep schedule. For anyone in the market for an introductory fitness tracker, the Gear Fit is a great buy!

Great product. Great features

I bought this product because I wanted something "techy" to help me stay motivated in getting a little more active. This product is great with helping me increase my goal every week. I also like to use it at work so I can move around without carrying my S7 with me every time I leave my desk. I can turn on the bluetooth and the Gear alerts me when I get a call or message. I also like to change the wallpaper to match the outfit I'm wearing.
The only rating I gave less than 5 stars was the design. The band gets sweaty when walking and sticks to my wrist. That's to be expected but it's just not comfortable.

First I was so happy to get the gear fit so that I can sync it to my samsung phone. I have had nothing but problems. I have to charge this watch every other day, it turns off whenever it feels and today it is not even tracking my steps. I expect better from samsung seeing as how I left Iphone to got back to android/samsung. I am not happy at all.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
