Great Technology , Poorly made wrist band

I had just received for Christmas and I was loving the features. It told time, had a pedometer, counted heart rate, exercise features and synced to my phone. The only thing I found wrong was the wrist band. It only connects in one place and easily falls off. I was so angry that I spent a lot of money for it only to get loss in 3 days. And of course when i looked back good old citizens stole it. The only improvement it needs is for it to have a better band like a strap band not one that snaps in.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, bluetooth capability, long lasting battery, comfortable fit
Overall, I have to say I like this watch. It has a couple of interesting drawbacks but not anything that would keep me from purchasing again. As long as it's with in blue tooth range of my phone I'm getting the notifications and it's handy as that it vibrates when you leave the blue tooth range and you didn't mean to leave your phone behind. Makes for a nifty notification to keep you from losing your phone. The two downsides I have found... I originally wanted this so that I could track steps throughout my day at work. I'd been keeping my phone in my pocket at work and that's not always healthy for the phone. The Gear tracks HALF as many steps as my phone did through the S Health app so I have NO clue which one is more accurate. But in S Health you can switch back and forth between what the phone records and what the watch does, so there is that.... I can feel like a healthy person or a slug depending on which trend I choose to check that day. The other downside is that it was easily marked up. As in within just a few days after purchase I had a scratch on the screen and case and no clue how it happened. It's not bad enough to rush out and buy another right away but an annoyance to be sure. If a screen protector was that needed, I'd have appreciated a heads up on some paperwork in the box. So for anyone who bothers to read these reviews, here's your warning. Slap a screen protector on your Gear and enjoy it's shiny, unmarred newness longer than I did.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: easily dinged, counts half as many steps as my phone does.
I wanted to replace my current fitness tracker for something with more abilities. After doing some research, I decided that the Samsung Gear Fit was the best choice. I like the fact that this device was meant to work with my Note 4. I now have a watch and a tracker in one for a very reasonable price. Not only that but the device will control my media device while running without having to access my phone. The device was easy to set up and understand. Another benefit of this device is it has an emergency setting, which could come in handy if running in an isolated spot and needing help.
So far my Gearfit has worked well. The only thing that could be better is the battery life. I have the brightness of the screen set as low as it will go and I get 3 days, tops.
I am looking forward to using it with my workouts. The Samsung Gear Fit pairs perfectly with my Galaxy S5. Thank You Samsung for providing the world with another great product.
